# UMI Performance 78-88 GM G-Body Spring/Shock Lowering Kit 1in Rear 250lb UMI’s lowering package features four Viking double adjustable shocks, a hybrid front coil-over spring system with 250 lb front springs, and your choice of 1 or 2-inch UMI rear lowering springs. The 250 lb springs are 11" tall and intended exclusively for drag racing applications with significant vehicle weight reduction, providing excellent front-end lift and weight transfer for improved traction. The hybrid front coil-over system allows a 0–3" adjustable drop, while the rear springs offer 1" or 2" lowering options to fine-tune stance. Viking’s shocks provide 19 compression and 19 rebound settings, letting you dial in suspension performance for street, strip, or cornering with simple knob adjustments—no tools required. The bolt-in design eliminates the need for welding or a spring compressor for the front, and optional Spanner Wrench and Thrust Bearing Kits make height adjustments smoother.
